Burdekin Embroidery Mates

The Burdekin Embroidery Mates met again to start a new sewing project.  This project contains embroidery, quilting and trapunto techniques, and free standing flowers.

During the first few hours of the workshop, some participants were a little worried that their knowledge and experience would not carry them through to successful stitching.  However, it was a pleasure for me, to guide their learning, and watch as each person met the challenges and completed the first section of the wall hanging.

Homework was set, with the tiles to be completed ready for the follow-up class later in the year.
