Cardwell By The Sea Quilters

A group of dedicated patch workers from the Cardwell met on Sunday at the RSL.  They came together for a day of patching and piecing, learning and laughter.  I was invited to facilitate the creation of a hidden squares quilt top.  Participants were introduced to the complexities of piecing.  The newcomers learned basic skills which underpin this wonderful craft.

It was wonderful to witness the fellowship between club members.  They shared and supported each other in their passion for sewing.  I look forward to visiting the group later in the year.  It will be great to to see their progress.
