Embroidery at La Pensee Quilting Studio

I had the honour and privilege of working with ten ladies at the La Pensee Quilting Studio situated in the beautiful Brisbane Valley at Benarkin.  Ros, who is the owner of La Pensee, and is an experienced long arm quilter invited me to lead a two day workshop focussing on key elements of machine embroidery.

Day One, allowed the participants to focus on the basic elements of machine embroidery.  For some, this day was a great refresher. For others, new to this craft, it was “Information Overload”.  It allowed persons to become acquainted with the fundamental principles of successful machine embroidery outcomes.

Day Two, participants applied their new-found knowledge and were challenged with learning to place embroidery designs with precision.  As a tutor, I was thrilled to see confidence levels soar as persons moved out of their comfort zones to produce great end results.
