Friends in Texas

It was wonderful experience to be in Texas.  I met with avid machine embroiderers at Patty’s Sewing Centre, San Antonio.  These ladies completed this clutch in a two-day workshop. Day one saw the ladies embroider.  The designs were from the Tracey Sims’, Springtime Daisies Project Book. They chose a fabulous array of colours to embroider.

Participants were given homework to complete prior to the second day.

On return, ladies were guided through the construction process.  This included, quilting, zipper attachment, lining construction and magnetic clip insertion.  It was a challenge.  Many ladies completed processes they had not done before.  Their efforts were exceptionable.

A heartfelt congratulations to class members.  Thank you for undertaking the challenge.  You stepped outside your comfort zone with your work.  I look forward to working with you again in the future.
