ASG Convention


The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House were the backdrop for an amazing week of sewing, textile art and dressmaking, at the Australian Sewing Guild Convention.  Workshops covering areas of creative dressmaking, pattern fitting and textile manipulation were enthusiastically accepted by the participants.  Expert tutors, encouraged and guided participants in their quests for sewing knowledge.   Over 120 guild members lived in, at the Shore Grammar School for this week long convention.  Persons travelled from all states of Australia and also New Zealand to attend.  New friendships were made and old friendship renewed.
