ASG National Convention

The Australian Sewing Guild National Convention started yesterday with over 100 persons attending the five day event.  Queensland is hosting this fantastic hands on sew fest at Churchie Grammar School in East Brisbane.

Numerous tutors are engaged to teach all facets of dressmaking, pattern making, garment fitting, embellishing and accessorising.

Participants travel from all states of Australia and also New Zealand to attend this annual event.

I caught up with another tutor, Robyn Bauer, from Cairns.  It is great to see that North Queensland is well represented by tutors and participants.
