Herbert River Quilters Retreat

On the weekend of 21st and 22nd June, thirteen ladies from the Herbert River Quilters worked on three projects offered by Jane.  On Friday evening, they explored features of their sewing machines to make an evening bag.  On the Saturday and Sunday, they challenged themselves with foundation piecing, and later, created a patchwork top from one piece of fabric.  Glennis, the workshop convenor, offered a light interlude on Saturday afternoon, by demonstrating interesting sewing techniques.
